Wah Joy is more than a name, it's the heart of our philosophy.
WAH reflects my initials and also represents "We Are Healing." We believe healing happens through love, connection, and joy.
The joy of being fully seen, deeply loved, and wholeheartedly celebrated. That belief shapes everything we do.

Meet Walter, Founder of Wah Joy
Wah Joy was founded by Walter, whose approach to creating meaningful wedding experiences is rooted in presence, connection, and genuine care for every couple he serves.
What began as a calling to guide couples through one of life's most meaningful moments has grown into a team of officiants and wedding professionals who share the same belief: every ceremony should reflect the couple at its heart, not someone else's expectations.
Over the past eight years, Walter has had the privilege of officiating hundreds of weddings, bringing a calm, thoughtful presence and heartfelt guidance to every ceremony. Today, Wah Joy continues that mission by helping couples create meaningful celebrations that honor their story, their values, and the love they share.

As the founder of Wah Joy, I’m an ordained minister, wedding officiant, speaker, and relationship coach, creating meaningful ceremonies across Kansas and Missouri. My work is rooted in presence, connection, and crafting ceremonies that feel personal, inclusive, and deeply authentic.

Minister Jake Pecaut is ordained through the Universal Life Church. Although he is one of our youngest ministers, he has officiated numerous weddings. His past experience catering weddings, where he witnessed hundreds of ceremonies, gives him insight into the process. He also brings over twenty years of performing onstage, lending a natural stage presence and quick wit to every ceremony.
